The Person Behind SolveFoundry
SolveFoundry grew out of a simple idea: technology should solve problems, not create more of them.
I’m a technology and business professional with a long-standing interest in software development, problem solving and finding practical ways to use technology to make work more effective. SolveFoundry is where those interests come together with today’s rapidly evolving AI tools.
Why SolveFoundry?
The name reflects the way I approach technology: identify a problem, explore possible solutions, build something useful, test it, refine it and keep improving it. AI has added a powerful new partner to that process, allowing me to explore ideas and develop software in ways that weren’t practical just a few years ago.
Experience That Shapes the Work
My background spans technology, business analysis, operations, process improvement and problem solving. That experience influences how I approach software development: start with the problem, understand the people and processes involved, and then determine what technology can realistically do to improve the situation.
I’m particularly interested in applications that are practical, maintainable and useful. A successful solution isn’t necessarily the most complicated one—it’s the one that solves the problem well.
Working With AI
AI has become an important part of my development process. I use AI as a development partner to explore ideas, analyze requirements, generate and review code, troubleshoot problems, create documentation and consider approaches I might not have otherwise explored.
The final responsibility remains with the developer. AI can suggest, explain and accelerate, but the developer has to understand the problem, evaluate the results and decide what belongs in the finished product.
The SolveFoundry Mission
Build useful software. Solve real problems. Use AI intelligently.
SolveFoundry is focused on practical software development—not technology for technology’s sake. The goal is to build applications and tools that are useful, understandable and capable of making a real difference in the way a task or problem is handled.
What Comes Next
SolveFoundry is an evolving project. Some applications are already being developed, while others are ideas waiting to be explored. As the portfolio grows, this site will document the projects, the development process, the challenges encountered and the solutions discovered along the way
If you have a problem that could benefit from a practical software solution, I’d be interested in hearing about it.
